Key features of the system:
The Security Screw: The Secure Mount security screw is the heart of our products. The
unique head design mates with the security key and Allen wrench we provide, which is only
held by designated parties, usually Clinical Engineering or the Department Head.
The Containment End: The four-place Cord Containment attachment keeps your cords in
place, and a single security screw makes sure that only the keyholder can remove them. The
cables can move up and down without binding, and the rounded edges prevent wear and damage.
The Cable Tether: Secure Mount’s patented Cable Tether doubles the security, keeping the
lead and trunk cords together on your ECG and SpO2 cables. The stainless security screw at
each end allows removal only by the holder of the security key or Allen wrench. If a
portion of the cable goes bad, the Tether can be slid up the cable to provide enough slack to
unplug and allow an emergency replacement to be plugged in. The defective cord will then
remain in place until the keyholder can remove it and incorporate the new cable in the system.
The Fixed Cable Rack: The Fixed Cable Rack will allow your cords to be hung neatly
without tension. This organizes the workspace to aid in quick, productive monitoring, and
adds to the life span of the cables.
